Returns/Refunds
All returns or refunds must be reported to us within 14 days of receipt. We guarantee money back refund without question (on internet orders only) if you are dissatisfied in any way. Items must be returned in the original condition in which they were received.
Returned items will be refunded using the same method used to make payment for the original order. Return postage will be reimbursed in case of damaged, defective or incorrectly sent items and will be credited using the same method used to pay for the order.

Once an order has been placed and paid for there is no cancellation on the product.
International duties and taxes
All taxes and duties, which may be levied by the government in the country you reside, are your responsibility. These differ considerably from country to country so if you are concerned we recommend you contact your local revenue office. In cases of faulty or damaged products or if we have sent you the wrong product we will refund any taxes and duties incurred, where a receipt is provided. We do not refund any taxes or duties on exchanges not relating to faulty or damaged products or products.
Shipping regulations in the United States
Due to United States regulations we are required to ship all products containing alcohol and aerosols, by land. Your package will be shipped by air to the US, but form its point of entry it will be delivered to you by land.
Consumer Guarantee
All purchases form this site are covered by the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 which guarantees that any goods purchased for personal use may be returned, if they are considered faulty, for either repair, replacement or refund of purchase price within a reasonable period of time as defined by Act.

All products sold on makeupdirect.co.nz are 100% genuine. There are NO imitations, fakes, knock offs, or damaged goods.

All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars on the website and in any other correspondence. Prices shown in any other currency are approximate only, and are subject to change.
Prices may be adjusted for any reason, and may vary at any time.
Illegal Use of Website
Makeup Direct accepts no liability for illegal or inappropriate use of the website. Makeup Direct policy is to not use the website for any illegal or inappropriate purpose. Makeup Direct cannot guarantee that the website will not be used for an illegal or inappropriate purpose by parties not employed by Makeup Direct.

The customer is deemed the importer of the goods.
Contracts
Only parties which can enter into legal contracts may purchase products through Makeup Direct. A contract is made when a receipt is issued for payment of your transaction. Makeup Direct reserves the right to not supply an order if the product is unavailable, the price or description is incorrect, or for any other reason.
Provision of Information
The onus is on the customer to ensure that the correct information is provided to Makeup Direct. This includes name, address, contact numbers and email addresses. Makeup Direct accepts no liability or responsibility for issues or costs arising from incorrect information being supplied to Makeup Direct.
Title & Risk
Once the products have been fully paid for, the ownership passes to the customer. The customer is deemed the importer of the goods. Responsibility to meet any laws, pay any duties, taxes or charges passes to the customer once the order has been dispatched.
Delivery
Makeup Direct uses Post Haste Couriers (www.posthaste.co.nz) for all of its national deliveries. We aim to have your parcel delivered to you within 48 hours from the date of your confirmed purchase. If you have not received your parcel within 48 hours you may contact us on 09 832 2210 or email sales@makeupdirect.co.nz. We will track and trace your parcel and endeavour to do our best to get your parcel delivered to you as soon as possible. Makeup Direct will not be responsible or liable for any lost or missing parcels during transit. For all national deliveries the cost of each parcel is $3.50 (all purchases $20 and over are FREE).
All orders require a signature on delivery. Please ensure that there is someone to accept delivery during working hours. Should our courier be unable to deliver, a card will be left to inform the recipient how they can collect their parcel or arrange re-delivery. It then becomes the recipient's responsibility to contact the relevant delivery company to arrange a suitable re-delivery date. If no contact is made, re-delivery may be attempted without further contact with the recipient. We accept no liability if delivery is not made due to the recipient not being available, or if goods become unsuitable as a result of non-delivery. It is therefore recommended that your package be sent to a work address if possible.
We will deliver to the address as you enter it and can not accept any liability for late or failed delivery if the quoted address is incorrect.
We regret that we are unable to accept orders for delivery to an address containing a PO Box Number.
Deliveries will be made to the address that you have selected. In the event that you select a business address Make Up Direct shall be deemed to have delivered the product to its intended recipient by delivering it to the reception area at the business address and receiving from a duly authorised representative at the business address a signed receipt of delivery.

For Rural Deliveries, please allow an extra day for delivery. A surcharge may apply for this service.
For all international deliveries Makeup Direct will use NZPost. All parcels will be sent by airmail. Unfortunately we cannot advise you of the expected delivery times as it varies from country to country. If an email address is supplied to us we will email you and advise you of the estimated time of arrival for your particular parcel. Some estimates are listed below as a guide.

Colour
Makeup Direct displays products, however colours displayed on a screen vary and may not represent the exact colours in reality. Makeup Direct is not responsible or liable for any liability or loss incurred through the colours of the website not matching reality.
However, we will exchange the product with 14 days if when you receive it, you do not feel the colour id the correct one for you – please see our 14 day money back guarantee detials at the top of the page. It is important to note that we can only exchange products that have NOT been used and are in their original packaging with the seal still intact (where applicable).
Submissions
Any submissions between Makeup Direct and any customer is to be treated as a submission to Makeup Direct. By making any submission to Makeup Direct you are granting Makeup Direct absolute use of the material, ideas, materials, suggestions, concepts or comments and transferring ownership of ideas to Makeup Direct. Makeup Direct is not required to name the customer, compensate the customer or reward the customer in any way, unless required by law.
Indemnity
The user of the Makeup Direct web site shall at all times keep the owners and proprietors, employees and sub-contractors, of this web site indemnified from and against all claims, demands, actions, proceedings or prosecutions which may be brought, commenced or prosecuted against the owners and proprietors, employees and sub-contractors, or in which the owners and proprietors, employees and sub-contractors, may be involved in consequence of or relating to the manufacture, production, provision or supply of the goods by the user.
This indemnity will extend to all costs, damages and expenses incurred by the owners and proprietors, employees and sub-contractors in connection herewith.
